Etiquette at the Table

At most casinos there are a lot of table games such as roulette, blackjack, craps, poker and all of them have a house dealer. Treating the dealer with respect will make things easier for you and other players. When looking for a table look for one that has an empty spot, some players will play more than one hand, so its not necessary that if there is an empty seat there is a place on the table. Respect other players and the dealers and you will have a good time.

When at a table consider your fellow players, if you win its not necessary to high five every player when you win. Also consider your language when in the company of other players, swearing is offensive to other players and the dealer, respect that. When you lose don't blame others or the dealer. Remember its your choice to play win or lose, you make the decisions on your betting and if you wins or lose, it the luck of the draw and no one else problem or responsibility.

If you are on an online casino, you might play with multi-hand games such as multi-hand poker, some casino have a live chat platform where you can interact with other players and chat with them. Although you might not be with other people in 'real life' as in a land-based casino, you still need to observe good basic manners.

Acquaint yourself with the rules of the various games, how to ask for change, when to take your winnings, and any other rules before sitting down at the tables. If you are not familiar with a game and its rules, watch and see how other players conduct themselves at the table. Remember that the dealers are not allowed to take money directly from your hand, place the money at the appropriate place for the dealer to pick it up. Wait for the end of a game before asking for change.

Politeness and good manners go a long way to make your and other players experience at land-based and online casinos a pleasant one
